That's what I keep saying and one of many defenses the banks are using. Unfortunately, it's caused some delays. At the same time, I've heard rumors that Ireti has said that he owns Xechem Nigeria, that Xechem International turned over all the stock to him. Unfortunately for him that's not reflected at the Corporate Affairs Commission, so this shouldn't be a difficult case to dismiss. Interesting how he can file a lawsuit against the banks for taking over, yet the EFCC is investigating him for stealing money from the company.
My bigger issue with him is selling product to a Sickle Cell Foundation for distribution to children at the Adult price and then only delivering a handful of bottles and no explanation where the rest went. Stealing is stealing, but when you steal medicine from sick kids, that's a whole different level of... I think I'll keep the rest of that thought to myself...
