In The United States District Court For The District Of Columbia, United States Of America and State Of vermont, Platintiffs, v. Verizon communications Inc. and Rural Cellular Corporation, defendants. Case No 1:08-cv-993-EGS http://www.justice.gov/atr/cases/f245300/245394.htm
In the case, Verizon had to divest certain assets in order to be allowed to acquire Rural Cellular. Of course Rural Cellular owned several subsidiaries including, but not limited to RCC Holdings Inc, RCC Consultants, etc etc.
I'm certain that someone in your position could provide: 1. The complete list of divested assets. 2. Who owns the assets now.
Answering #1 and #2 will help resolve the ongoing debate. Of course only verifiable links, no IMO's will be counted.
