ion-333 would be the warehouse bin location for the product, even if zevotek added 4 more items it would still use the ion-333 for the bin location then you use the subset item numbers,in some cases they could use the same 333 for another company although when i was a shipping manager for the big 3 automotive companies we supplied line repair parts each company had their own part numbers but in the warehouse we used one number for the bin location and had subset numbers at the bin location for ford and gm chrysler,they were very slow to adopt using the manufacture part numbers as their own numbers told the company what dept. to bill the item to,believe it or not the same timken bearings could have like 10 different part numbers even though it was the same part!!
it is my opinion that the 333 is only being used for zevotek!!
