If you believe this stock is worthless, then sell your shares and move on. I'll pick them up for fractions on the penny. Its worth a gamble to me.
If you really talked to former board members, as you say, in which I doubt. They would not have told you the company is defunct because they would be liable to class action law suits from the share holders.
This company may not currently exist as its former self. If it is a shell, It will have tangible and non-tangible assets which may have value. We won't know until there is a news release or possibly new web site. Something is definitely going on with this stock, as there is no volume. GLTA
