AMD64 Device Driver Support for Windows® and Linux

AMD64 Device Driver Support for Windows® and Linux

Find AMD64 device drivers* from AMD partners now! The following device driver partners have ported or are in the process of porting their 32-bit drivers to AMD64 on Windows and Linux. Some drivers are in Beta phase of development. Please contact the device driver vendor with specific support questions.

Please note that “In Kernel” indicates generally the Linux driver will be transported with the 64-bit Linux distribution, but may require compile. “In box” indicates that the driver is available on the installation distribution of the 64-bit Windows distribution.

If you have questions on particular device drivers, and you are a system builder, OEM, ISV or IHV partner, please contact your device driver vendor representative directly.

Attention Device Driver Vendors: New INF requirements for 64-bit Windows!

Driver INF files on Windows Server 2003 SP1 and later versions of Windows must decorate entries in the [Manufacturer] section and [Models] section names with .ntamd64 to specify operating system versions on non-x86 based systems. This change does not affect INFs for x86-based systems. See Windows Hardware and Driver Central for more details:

For AMD64 anti-virus software, check out the CA eTrust Antivirus 7.1 Beta Program and McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 7.1 for Windows.

Download Sun Operating Systems, Drivers, Java technologies and more.

CA and McAfee have antivirus apps, as listed above. I emagine you can dload CA's and try it out.
