For all of you who completely missed the point about salt water let me walk you through it. I was not referring to salt hitting the outside of the machine. The problem is going to lie in the internal moving parts that will be exposed to heavy salt as plastic is put in the machine straight from the ocean. This means the internal components cannot be made of easyily corroded materials that are just painted. The heat and movement will peel the paint very quickly. The machine will need to be made from bronze, stainless steel, or some other EXPENSIVE metal that doesn't corrode as quickly as say, steel.
