There have been enough projects, potentials, interest, etc. that didn't pan out to warrant a lot of skepticism, but you take it to another level when you decide which ones were 'lies.' I don't see how you can say that if you don't know all the facts, many of which simply can't be divulged. Take your statement, 'look how long it took them to rework the FTV!' You don't know the turn around from the Air Force for approval, testing, evaluation, transportation and scheduling. Given the bureaucracy in government in general and the nature of this project, it's unique tech and the life and death mission, I'm kind of surprised everything has moved as fast as it has. I'd bet money that any delays weren't the fault of Torvec, but then I don't know the inside facts either. In any case it's 'flying' down to Florida. I'm kind of surprised they didn't make a bigger deal about adding flight capabilities to the FTV. I guess that part of the program was done at Area 51.

'Building and shipping parts is quite different than building an FTV, wouldn't you agree?' Actually no. First of all I respect setting up and running a fairly techy factory in Argentina, from upstate NY. I would think it would be much easier to run a NY company from NY. Second, much of the FTV arrives assembled. They strip off the axles, cut the frame and then add parts. I'm sure Ford could send trucks with the stripped parts simply not assembled, but in any case that's not a big deal. The boggies, wheels, suspension parts, are all stock. The exhaust is different, but then I think the only new parts are the gearcases, IVT, SteerGear, and what ever the Air Force adds to the trucks they have now. It's not a kit car, but they would be entering a phase where they aren't constantly tweaking design, just assembling locked down designs. You don't think they can do it because you can't imagine how it could be done. That's usually the kind of person that does not buy into this kind of company, so I'm confused, not full of Kool-Aid. If the Air Force wants a 100 within a year and Torvec says, gee there is no way we can deliver, you will be proven correct, but I really think that is the kind of problem everyone at Torvec has been praying for since they pulled the Jeep out of the mud with the FTV. You are a skeptic, I am much more of a believer, but telling me I'm a cultist drinking 'kool-ade' because I differ with you, really isn't a compelling argument for me to change my hope for this company.
