not sure how much I would bank on the RPS concept of to "...reduce the use and expense of aircraft carriers." Just saying. However, if these engines are as fuel efficient, reduced weight, reduced maintenance, and reduced engine exhaust temps, etc, then I would think that the military would be interested (maybe even VERY). Use of composites, fuel efficiency and conventional fuel alternative possibilities are getting a lot of attention. Reduce use and expense of aircraft carriers...not so much.
