I was reminded today of a saying that I have lived by throughout my life.
Admiral Stockdale of Vietnam POW fame, when asked who surrived and who was the first to die in the POW camps, his reply was this: THE FIRST TO DIE WAS ALWAYS THE OPTIMISTS, THEY REFUSED TO ACCEPT WHAT WAS HAPPENING, IT WAS THE REALISTS THAT LOOKED AT THEIR SITUATION FOR WHAT IT WAS...THEY LIVED.

IMO, this is very applicable to NEOM and its investors.
