I will worry when they start putting hydrogen fuel cells into cell phones, that don't drip water into your ear.
Samsung does not make cars and hydrogen fuel cells use tons of water, and California legislation has moved away from this solution in favor of electric vehicles, because of the water issues. California is moving in the direction of alternative energies such as bio mass and solar and wind, assisted with federal funding to build the supply of electricity for these vehicles. How do I know this because as a marketing company myself one of my customers is the California Fuel Cell Partnership and I read there literature constantly and talk with them about the energy markets and their direction, plus see the vehicles on their floor from all the major manufacturers. Hydrogen fuel cells will play a role, but they will not be the final answer, and it will take all sources of alternative energy to achieve stated goals and this means the markets are still huge for Biomass based products.
I now this to be a fact because of 270 acres my family owns that in which we have just received a lease offer to allow a solar farm on the property that pays more than farming does. It is a French Parent company the has 8% of it’s energy sources dedicated to biomass sources, which has doubled in the last year. Currently their Solar and wind sources stand at less than 1%. They have 90% of their current supply is traditional sources and all their plans for new development consist of alternative sources with a goal to become a leader particularly in the Biomass, Solar, Wind in that order. They currently have a solar farm in Wilton CA, that was partially funded by the local power company mostly because CA greatest resource is the sun, but in Minnesota they have biomass facilities, because they lack the required number of sunny days to make a solar farm profitable.
