Thanks all
Feel much better today. Overnight the small ripples remained however, I sanded them down with a single sheet of sand paper, then used a block drywall sandpaper. It knocked the peaks out of the bubbles. I either didn't have enough (which I doubt) mud underneath, or 2 much and it just didn't pull down the rock.
Regardless, it sanded down better than I expected. I then put a feather coat of mud over that, and I expect ot to be perfectly smooth. Didn't feel good about this last night before bed since this is my 1st drywall job, and the bubbles had me freaked out. I am going to use the GARDZ, but still have a question.
Do people think just one coat of base (since GARDZ is clear) will cover the drywall so I can't see it? If not, should I add a layer of white primer over the GARDZ, then base, or just do 2 layers of base? Also, use blue as base, and white on top for coverage?
Thanks
Paul
