Bubbles? tiny bubbles in the joint compound? or "watery" bubbles in the paper or tape? If the former, they sand out and/or will be covered by subsequent coats; if the latter, slice 'em open and remove loose paper, re-taping if necessary.

You don't need fancy "products," just prime with a decent primer.
