actually no they don't (although they can). It depends on the type of audit. That is actually why I asked about the start date. If I can get that date (I guess I could call Dean but don't want to since he did not necessarily know that the essence of his conversation would be published) I can query my wife about some particulars about timelines for audits. FYI, my wife is a senior lead CPA (something along those lines) for a major international company that had conducted/been involved in a lot of audits concerning corporate quarterlies, major contracts and a few ACQUISITIONS.
