I am familiar with many of these, but after living in Denver for four years, they don't come close to the cult following of SPKL.

One thing to consider about the franchise business is that rapid, irresponsible expansion spells doom for your company. (Boston Market) SPKL seems to be very cautious before diving into agreements with franchisees. This is an excellent discipline and one that will prove wise as economic conditions improve.
