OT-While living in England in the 80's I read my oldest daughter some Holmes tales. She loved them and wanted to write to Mr. Holmes. So, we did, and from the occupant she received an answer from his staff telling her that Mr. Holmes was retired and keeping bees in Surrey or Sussex. I think it was Abbey Building Society who did this. She still has the letter with bees flying on the letterhead. Classy.
