All Claims Dismissed In Lehman MBS Case 1/26/2010 4:59:50 PM NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--McGraw-Hill Cos. (MHP) said Tuesday that a federal judge has dismissed the company from a consolidated lawsuit related to mortgage-backed securities issued by Lehman Brothers Holding Inc. (LEHMQ). U.S. District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan in Manhattan dismissed all claims against McGraw-Hill in a ruling from the bench at a hearing Tuesday. The judge is expected to issue a written ruling at a later date. "We are pleased that the judge granted our motion to dismiss in its entirety," a McGraw-Hill spokesman said. The consolidated lawsuit related to more than $93 billion of mortgage-backed securities issued by Lehman over a 21-month period that ended in early 2007. The claims against McGraw-Hill related to alleged actions by its Standard & Poor's.
