Funny, when I switched to Digital cable they gave me 60days to preview the "specialty channels". One of them is "SexTV". So last night I was watching a movie after hours - called "Carnal Sex" or something. Soft core.
(For those uneducated souls - when they make a "porn" movie they have multiple end products from the filming - a soft core version (meant mostly for Hotels) a hard core version (the video rentals) and typically, the Downy of the bunch, a "magazine" version (typically ultra soft core). Also a few other things too.. but can't recall).
JUNK! I chuckle that people actually pay to watch that crap. (when you can d/l for free the good stuff!)
Even the movie network had some soft core stuff sometimes.. and that movie network is crapola too.
Back to Digital.. my wife loves the two things we have now:
(A) The Tivo like product (sort of) - the PVR unit - comes with the two tuners and pauses live TV
(B) The "Guide" so you can move up and down to see what is available and even hit "RECORD".
But the guide is a good scam - they show you ALL stations available even if you are not subscribed.
Anyways, in the end, we will not have the movie pack, and will probably pick about 10-15 specialty (not "packs" but the actual channels we want).
At least somewhat closer to utopia.. the channels we want to have plus the PVR versus the crap we care not for.
