TODAY I HAVE RESERVED A MEETING ROOM FOR JUNE 11TH ON THE CHANCE THERE IS ANY INTEREST in response to the comment that the "BOD wants a Stockholders Meeting"
NOTE: See additional information on events at the bottom of this post.

All right, I have reserved a meeting room at the Oak Tree Inn for $50. It has a comfortable capacity for up to 50 people or perhaps a few more, with only seating and a table at the front. If this is not needed or desired, I can cancel easily enough in advance of June 11th.

No better time for such a meeting than when many folks are in town on June 11th and 12th. While not my call, it is available if that decision appears to be suitable.

If the Oak Tree is not satisfactory another option might be at the old hotel down town where the Lions Club meets where they also have a meeting room. I just locked in the Oak Tree Inn as I am staying there and believe that a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush. Also, as a good Boy Scout, I like being prepared! I make this available to the BOD and shareholders if there is an interest.

- HOTEL YEAR BUILT - 2002 ADDITIONAL PROPERTY DESCRIPTION - WITH EXTRA-QUIET GUEST ROOMS AND LIGHT-PROOF DRAPERIES, THE OAK TREE INN MILFORD IS A 100-PERCENT NON-SMOKING HOTEL OFFERING A MEETING ROOM, FITNESS CENTER, SPA, AND COMFORTABLE, NICELY DECORATED ROOMS WITH RECLINERS, MICROWAVES, REFRIGERATORS, AND 25-INCH TVS WITH HBO. PETS ARE WELCOME, AND WE OFFER TREATS AND OPEN RUNNING SPACE. ENJOY A FREE BREAKFAST AT PENNYS DINER- A BLAST FROM THE PAST WITH A FRIENDLY STAFF AND EXCELLENT FOOD AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY.

MILFORD ACTIVITIES: Dinners served at the Milford Pavilion on Saturday the 11th. Information on a head count may be requested by WUCC prior to the event. Also, a breakfast and lunch are offered on Saturday. THE PARADE lasts for about a half hour, of course depending on how many CPRK car entries there are, and is normally over sometime between 5:30 and 6:30, the window the hotel was able to provide me with.

CAMPING FACILITIES: The Lion's Club camping station just north of the Cody Wright Arena. There is a sign posted there telling travelers that they are welcome to stay the night with a 14 day limit. The Lion's Club only request a donation to help them with the upkeep of the campground. Apparently there is water and a dump station there. The location is very new with only small seedling trees planted and no mature trees on site.

MILL TOUR: This is what I have been advised on in regards to tours. I can't help but think that some accommodations might be made also for Sunday the 13th and even perhaps some tours not including the actual mill so that folks can at least hear the story and see the land and maybe even pick up a piece of the rock. After all, some people are traveling great distances to participate in this event. Anyhow, just my opinion. Here is what I was told:

Walt McGinley, WUCC/CPRK Mining & Safety Engineer, will accommodate very limited Milford Rendezvous tours with advance reservations only. He will be available on Friday morning, June 11th @ 10 am to take a 6-person tour. The tour will last approximately until noon. Walt regretfully will not be available for any tours on Saturday, June 12th. He will be available again on Monday, June 14th @ 10 am for another 6 person tour.

No other tours will be available. Last March, during the open house of the Mill, large groups of people were shuttled by bus loads. This was acceptable with MSHA regulations because the Mill was just newly constructed and not operational at that time. Please understand strict MHSA regulations are in place and must be followed to ensure everyone's safety now that the Mill is operational.

People are still welcome to JUST SHOW UP for the Milford Rendezvous at the City Park, but need to understand that a tour of the Mill will not be included unless they are one of the 12 people who have reserved a tour for either Friday, June 11th or Monday, June 14th in advance.

I also understand that there will be different booths with things for sale such as food and craft items. While there has been some interest in generating CPRK items, I have not seen anything suggesting that there is a firm commitment to do so yet. Maybe some of the investors will bring items of their own. I know that I am engraving some glasses for the fun of it.

Any information or opinions I put out are strictly of my own effort and are not endorsed by anyone else or any member of the CPRK/WUCC staff. I am just trying to make a small contribution by helping to get information out so that we can share the best time possible. I in no way wish to imply that I am the go to person for any of these events. I'm just one of you folks and I'm from Seattle! While I am certain, kind of, that information will be forthcoming from CM and the CPRK/WUCC offices, I would not assume that lodging and meeting rooms will be available when that happens. He who hesitates is lost!

THERE YOU HAVE IT, THE BOTTOM LINE FROM MY PERSPECTIVE AT THIS TIME...........

JUST SHOW UP............ and don't procrastinate on booking your room reservations.
