BeBevCo (PINKSHEETS: BBDA) announces today that beverages aren't its only passion, helping those in need is also. Due to the recent earthquake that devastated the island of Haiti, BeBevCo has been working hard to find a way to help those who need it most in that country.
Last week, the world watched in horror as the island of Haiti was devastated by a 7.0 earthquake. It was the most severe earthquake in over 200 years. The focus was about 6 miles (10 km) underground, according to the USGS. Hundreds of thousands watched as their homes were destroyed and their lands were rendered uninhabitable. As the days pass the death toll has been estimated to reach over 200,000 people. Widespread damage from the earthquake left a majority of buildings collapsing due to poor structural design. The heart of the earthquake was just off of the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince, leaving the countries equivalent of the Whitehouse completely demolished.
The utter horror of it all has touched base here in the United States. The Red-Cross has extended a helping hand as well as the rest of the country. This includes BeBevCo who wishes to extend their hand to the Haiti Nation. BeBevCo has donated 6 pallets of Piranha Water to the relief project.
