"I don't know much about digging for diamonds, but I do know a bit about Manitoba, and in about a month or so it is going to become a rather inhospitable place to be doing anything outdoors, so if they don't start poking holes in the ground soon then I don't imagine they will be doing it 'til spring.

The first BIG Canadian diamond discovery was made in forty below zero weather at Point Lake in the North West Territories of Canada. How do you imagine one would drill a kimberlite pipe that was sitting under a lake or swamp if it was not frozen?
