I don't understand them either. People, Buy and Sell at the ASK! If a stock is going up, it does you no good trying to save a few pennies buying at the BID. It just kills momentum and you end up saving a penny but losing a dollar. And, if you sell at the BID, you kill momentum for others. Know ahead of time when you want to exit a stock, and place your limit order ahead of time at, or higher than, the ASK price. This way, momentum is retained. Be considerate to those still holding, so that others may be considerate to you someday. JMO
