HQS...The cash HQS is sitting on will be used to execute projects discussed in their investor presentation. These are NOT small projects and they will surely diversify the company's sales IMO (higher margins). I posted the link to the presentation in my previous post if anyone wants to listen to it. Here are a few more notes...

- We have been participating in the personal healthcare industry, which is for many people a surprising component of our business and I think merits a lot more attention because the raw materials are exceptionally pure as a result of the methods that we have. And we are able to turn those into a variety of heath products.

- The aquaculture segment will receive a big boost from the feed mill which we'll see in the 4th quarter and in subsequent quarters. That business in itself will benefit not only from tilapia feed sales, but also from specialty feeds to other species.

- Through the new feed mill, HQS is now able to supply feed to specialty operations that supply restaurants with high end species. Smaller market than tilapia, but very high profit margin.

- Through third party certifications, we're meeting the new very demanding standards of the best top seafood buyers in the world.

ratobranco, you posted that there is absolutely no reason for HQS to have a $50M offering waiting in the wings right now, but I guess that remains to be seen. Could have an acquisition in mind or more expansion or nothing. But even if they did an offering for the complete $50M, upside still outweighs downside IMO as I pointed out in my previous post.
Also, not sure what you mean by HQS has a proven record of screwing shareholders?
Anyway, I am very new to HQS so take what I post for what it's worth. It's just my opinion after listening to their 1/14/10 investor presentation, and like I said, the link is in my previous post if anyone wants to listen to it.
We'll see how things look when they report Q4, Y/E in March.

The information posted by 2morrowsGains is opinion only and should not to be taken as investment advice.
