It makes even that much less sense to "take down the servers" since they can't physically do it. When this was Barry's I saw the servers in this room. But now there are no production servers under ReelTime's control, they are leasing space on another company's server. A full life cycle goes from the development server on their desk and is uploaded to their host in about 5 minutes. That is arguably the longest a website should ever go down, and there is no excuse for anything other than that.
