I havn't yet seen the T-boone-Stossell interview yet (I just set to record it tonight at 7pm), but I would like to put in my two cents now.

It seems most people were mad that it is being subsidized by tax-payer money, which I also have mixed feelings about it being a conservative. But either way it has to be profitable to succeed. Does everyone remember when "Recycling" first started and was the "Big thing". Well at first it failed because it was pushed on us by local goverments and it wasn't profitable. It took (non-goverment)companies to step in and find a market. We are in the right State to be very successful and profitable as a company. Examples include

Shipping
proximity to deep water ports, interstates, palmetto pipeline

Dry Stock
Tons of farmland in South Carolina, and capable of growing winter crop.

Markets
proximity to Military Bases, Trucking Sector, Shipping ports, Railroad,

Government
State Government is pro-alternative energy, Alternative Energy tax-breaks, Solar and Bio-diesel tax breaks.

Labor
The annual household income is only $21,000 so labor is very cheap. http://profiles.nationalrelocation.com/South%20Carolina/Kingstree/
