They are licensed through Canada to trade Canadian stocks that do not have a listing on the U.S. Exchange.

For example: look at Canadian symbol EFG.v - .34 to .95 today on news. You can't trade that stock unless you are with Pennaluna. They do not have a U.S. listing.

But even to some that do have a listing here and thier, sometimes they only post the news releases on the canadian Exchange if it is a Canadian mining company and not a U.S.

Example: look at DEJ - Dejour. It has the same symbol for the U.S. Exchange and the Canadian, but you will see most news releases only show up on the Canadian exchange.
