IMHO, it came down to decision making and leadership; neither of which they seem to have on display under Herda and Faith (who remains in the organization as someone's lackey - a role perfectly suited to his skills). As for Powers, he was a weak member of the BOD and did nothing to engage the process. He was too busy with his consulting.

The fact remains that there was a real opportunity that was closer than most realize and it is one that Fairweather MAY be resurrecting.

We will see...
