Perhaps the question to ask yourself is how does declaring this dividend help the insiders?

They fought it for a long time. Then they sold that crappy trucking company.

And now that they have this new structure they have created for their own benefit, I think it's fair to say, they declare a dividend.

How about this for an answer: It gives them more shares to short.
