Sirius Satellite Radio, a provider of satellite-delivered digital radio programming, said on Tuesday that as of August 11, 2002, the company claimed 6,510 subscribers for its 100-channel, $12.95 per month service. New York-Sirius had 3,347 subscribers the day before its service became available nationwide on July 1, 2002.
