It's no easier in Canada than in the US, hasn't been for many years now. Catch up with the times please.

It's cheaper in Canada, IF you can find a broker that will allow shorting of any OTC BB, Pink or Grey, with margin/maintenance fees of only 100% margin PLUS .50 (FIFTY CENTS) per share for stocks under .50.

In the US thanks to your Federal Reserve, the minimum margin/maintenance is $2.50/share for stocks trading under 2.50.

Sure makes economic sense to risk millions, to make a few grand maximum on a penny or subpenny stock, while your risk is unlimited.

Dream on kids. There's no significant short here and never has been unless insiders/funders were shorting against their own paper and that's far from naked.
