Scottrade does as Scottrade wants. Usually not a problem with Sarrissa, but I have had a few instances where they wouldn't allow a trade at all! They have several triggers that stop trades. One is what ontaREEo mentions in post 816, a peak in PPS then a drastic drop. Another is disproportionate volume. Usually if you call in an order they will make the trade for you, but I have had instances when a stock was on a run they would not make the trade. This sucks when I am trying to get in at the beginning of a run to flip for profit, also if there is a drastic drop in PPS sometimes they won't trade either, when I am trying to get out of a position. Be aware of this if you are thinking of using Scott as your online broker. As ontaREEo says, they have told me too--we are doing this for your protection!!
