Caledonia Mining CEO talks record Q1 & solar sale

Lancaster Resources acquires High-Grade Lake Cargelligo gold project in Australia

Lancaster Resources Vice President of Engineering and Operations Andrew Watson joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the company has entered into a definitive Mineral Claim Purchase Agreement to acquire 100% ownership of the Lake Cargelligo Gold Project in New South Wales, Australia. The project spans over 28,768 hectares under a single Exploration License Application and includes multiple high-grade gold and silver occurrences confirmed through historic rock chip and channel sampling, along with previous drilling. Those rock chips returning up to 204 g/t gold (Au) and 273 g/t silver (Ag). According to Watson, the company sees this as a district-scale opportunity, with more than 25 km of prospective strike and three primary target zones already identified. Watson also noted that no modern geophysics has been applied to the property to date, making this an exciting greenfield opportunity for Lancaster. The company plans to deploy field crews in Q3 2025 to begin a comprehensive exploration program, which will include modern geophysical surveys, geochemical sampling, and drill targeting. To support both the acquisition and upcoming exploration activities, Lancaster Resources also announced its intention to complete a non-brokered private placement to raise approximately $400,000. Greatland Gold's Shaun Day on Telfer Reserve & Havieron expansion plans

Greatland Gold PLC managing director Shaun Day talked with Proactive about the company’s updated ore reserve for the Telfer gold-copper mine and its forward-looking development strategy. Day outlined the release of a 712,000-ounce gold and 23,000-tonne copper ore reserve for Telfer, achieved just five months post-acquisition. This comes on the heels of a 3.2 million ounce resource estimate, collectively taking the total resource base, including Havieron, beyond 10.0 million ounces. “This is really built on the back of Michael Thompson and his team,” Day said, noting the speed and scale of the update. He emphasized that the reserve confirms continuity at Telfer as Havieron ramps up, avoiding any production gap. Day also discussed the two-year dual-train production outlook through FY27 and emphasized the production and cost benefits expected once Havieron, a significantly higher-grade and lower-cost asset, is integrated. An updated feasibility study aims to expand Havieron from 2.8 to 4–4.5 million tonnes per annum, potentially via conveyor infrastructure to enhance economics and ESG performance.
