more on gapdowns
as a subscriber to TC2000 i get to see a proprietary "balance of power" indicator. BOP. don't pretend to understand the mechanics.
BOP goes from red to yellow to green. on TC2K the stock has spent nearly 2 weeks in yellow after 3weeks of red. and the gap is now being chewed into. this strikes me as sort of normal behavior for meltdowns, and as such, has me looking more closely for an entry.
i'd be waiting for the next turndown in the 4,3,2stoch and then would definitely buy if the turndown halted at the "trendline" drawn through the recent lows of the 432s
i happen to be a big fan of flash memory stocks and own FLSH and SNDK in LT accounts. trade SSTI in trading accont. thankfully sold a good chunk of SNDK in 70s presplit from initial buy below 10 early in '03
