NXT Signs Automotive Supplier Fujitsu Ten As Its 250th Licensee

NXT, the developer of innovative flat-panel loudspeaker technologies, has announced it has signed its 250th licensee, automotive supplier Fujitsu Ten Limited of Japan.

Fujitsu Ten is one of Japan's largest suppliers of audio, electrical, and car navigation equipment within the automotive industry. The company manufactures automotive audio systems and navigation systems under its own brand, "Eclipse," and works with more than ten global original equipment manufacturers as well, among which are Toyota, General Motors, Honda, Isuzu and Daihatsu.

Shigeki Kato, general manager, Acoustic Engineering department of Fujitsu Ten says of the signing: "Fujitsu Ten Limited is very excited about NXT's cutting-edge technology, which fulfills various requirements specific to automotive applications. We plan to reproduce the best possible sound-space in cars by taking full advantage of the light weight and very slim speakers realized by the technology."

Other recently signed NXT licensees include A/S L Hammerich & Co, a Denmark based acoustic ceiling specialist; UK company, Pro Display Ltd, a display stand and rear projection screen producer, and design and commercial installation company Soundtube Entertainment Inc. There are also several additional licensees with whom NXT has non-disclosure agreements.
