MH, the mere FACT that we need defend the fact of evolution on this board reveals just how DANGEROUSLY ignorant american society has become.
In my first week in college a teacher refered to evolution in a factual rendering and this idiot with a southern drawl shouted out that he was speaking lies.
The two had a brief clash and the profesor said if that is your belief i strongly suggest you leave this school because i will flunk you for your view and you will have that situation elsewhere.
The kid got up grabbed his books and said i will not stand for this.
He left the school within the week.
I thought to myself, my gawdddd how could anyone be that stupid.
It was the first time i had been faced with such ignorance from an otherwise intelligent mind.
Now it is commonplace to meet up with these blokes.
Scary scary scary to witness minds degenerating.
