I think Freedom of Speech is totally abused by many many people.

I know exactly the type you are referring to... the kind that feel they can irresponsibly and sometimes purposely slander/libel others and then hide behind the guise of freedom of speech and the ACLU. When Muell talked to me about doing this board, that was the one thing I brought up to him... that it not become a forum for those types.

It's very similiar to having free enterprise and capitalism and the current crisis in the business world... free enterprise shouldn't be a license to commit fraud and rip people off... that's an abuse of one's freedom.

Some of the things that I've been following in the news that really appall me are... the plight of women in Afghanistan and Pakistan... how women cannot accuse someone of rape unless she has three male witnesses... female witness don't count... how females weren't allowed to work or even show their faces... Or how about the Catholic church excuminacating some women who were ordained, but who cover up and continue to protect priests who are child molestors? What about the children who's parents exploited them for internet child porn?
