Democrats from the old school just wanted opportunity to show what they could do. That is why old democrats like me die hard. I have had a great life because as a student I got low interest loans and help to pay for school. I paid all of it back with interest. Repubs like to inherit money from their parents and run the family business. They think they made it on their own because their daddy worked hard. I told my kids that my money was mine and they have the same opportunities that I did. In fact I think it is easier to make it now because natural born Americans keep looking for a hand out rather than a hand up. I furnished textbooks to many students that could not afford them. That is a hand up. But I only gave them to students that I knew would read them. Lefty students stole my books and sold them to used book stores.
