I'm not into this yet, still reading and dd, but as retired LE, I don't think this would replace a taser, but as an alternative method to disable it would be a tool that would be attractive to LE agencies.

If, as I've started to read they are forming a distributor network of sales then I would say more and more departments would start coming on board at least initially and its continued success would be from actual street use by the departments using it.

You know we talk to each other (LE) and the best word of mouth would be its successful use by street LE officers.

And another point, with some of the bad press the other company/product has gotten, departments that are leary about introducing a controversial product might look to an alternative without the baggage that comes with it.

Plus the stimulus money going into LE is also a plus!
