Look at the product and the industry. I'm heavily involved in the power systems industry, and Im into SYMW because of its product. Fuel cells have been around for a very long time, but have limited viable applications due to their performance, size, weight, and fuel requirements. SYMW has a very clever idea that will thrust the fuel cell into the mainstream, and make it viable in areas that it had never even been considered. They have to be very careful though, and be sure all of their ducks are in a row (especially just prior to final realease of the product). They have only one chance for a 1st impression. If released too soon, there will be many teething problems, and the public will turn away faster than thay turned to it (like the Capstone microturbine (CPST). With SYMW in the R&D stage, I like to see that its just a skeleton, spending only what is needed for the R&D, and wasting no $. R&D costs have to be recouped by initial price of the product, and by keeping the costs down, the product can be sold for a lower price. JD needs to be sure that the FEDMFC is ready for prime time, and that it can be sold for the lowest possible price to make a STRONG impression. If done properly, and the SPECS are worked out, this thing will shoot through the STRATOSPHERE!!!!
