i just read your posts on the special dividend...and its basically a fuk story...i talked to a broker at scottrade about this and heres the scoop...you needed to buy this stock by dec 31st...so as to be the holder of record by jan 4th....AND THEN you needed to hold it thru jan 19th...these guys are fuggin crooks who really dont wanna dispense the money to the shareholders with all their confusing pr's...heres a link to the way "special distributions" work http://www.answers.com/topic/special-dividend-1 I got fukked cuz i didnt hold til jan 19th...therefore relinquishing my right to the distribution...someone should complain about the confusion brought on by there lame pr's not explaining them correctly...oh well im out of this turd and not looking back....fuggin hustlers
