Is it possible to increase momentum on our own.....just thinking

Lets say 5 investors get to together and place odd purchase orders (say 1,000 and change shares) in this stock. This would come out to less than a dollar + whatever your rate is for trades by your broker. I use Zecco so it would be about a 5 dollar experiment if I was one of the participants.

One invests at 0.0003, then another at 4, 5, 6, 7. Since this is a subpenny stock, we would each spend pretty much the same amount.

With little trading going on, wont these numbers show as upticks on the graphs with huge percentage gains. Naive investors who are only watching price will see this and try and jump and ride the wave.

Then you put sell orders in for your principle payments at 0.0004 and 0.0005 or whatever lowest amount you can sell to make a profit.

Is this an absolutely ridiculous idea?
