I still believe that Worldspace India had to be closed so that they could merge the new Worldspace synergies. It does not make sense that they would have closed Worldspace India when they were finally beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Also, I can't imagine that Worldspace would be lost to a 28 million bail out when they have invested over 1.7 billion to get this far. I believe there are other investors with cash working to help Malone get Worldspace back on track and profitable. I wouldn't be surprised if we the Toulouse satellite is not already deployed and in operation. Maybe the closure of India is really to link all the systems together and India was going to lose service anyway so they had to make some sort of announcement as they prepare for the global launch.
