yes, I got the part about the car being "very dirty", that's why I asked you if you did not know how to wash a car.
When a car is "very dirty", you are supposed to spray all that extra grit off with a hose. It won't make that mess if you make sure you first do that, then rinse the sponge regularly as I do with my 4 wheel drive truck when it gets "muddy".

I use the sponge to wash my truck after it has been out in the fields and is covered in mud. Does a great job. You need to teach your daughter how to wash a "very dirty" car because she is obviously doing it wrong.
