Is there a way to clean your bathroom without cleaners?

Looking for a quick and easy way to clean your bathroom?

The Gold Bar Tub and Tile cleaner is supposed to get the job done without you having to use a cleaner. But does it work? Let me try it before you buy it.

It's a sponge that has a degreaser and soap built in, so there is no need for sprays and cleaners. The claim is you just add water and you can use it for up to eight washes.

So we tried it out, more than eight times.

The directions say to spray the area you want to clean with water to loosen the dirt, saturate the sponge with water and squeeze it to activate the soap and scrub away.

It definitely makes lots of suds and is simple to use. The only problem is you still need another sponge to rinse because every time you add water to it it makes more suds, making it a big sudsy mess.

Although it somewhat lives up to its claim of being able to use it for up to eight washes, overall the sudsy mess does not make it easier for me to clean, because I have to use a wash cloth or another sponge to wipe up all the suds.

The company sent us samples to try. But we did find it online for $8.95.

Money is tight these days, so just use the cleaners and sponges you already have. I give the Gold Bar Tub and Tile cleaner a thumbs down.
