No, no brave soul has stepped forth to offer any information regarding "the other one." I am reminded of Harry Potter where most of the characters will only refer to Lord Voldemort as "he who must not be named." Apparently there is a similar sense of fear and/or awed reverence regarding this stock that must not be named. However, if Texas Twister turned away from whatever sinister presence is represented on that dark side and purchased PFOB, then that is good enough for me. There seems to be a deepening mystery surrounding all of this, and I must confess that, as an aspiring novelist, it holds a certain appeal. There just may be a story in here somewhere!
