Call me NUTZ, but I just Faxed in a application for adopting a full size Greyhound. Our last Racing track closed in our state on 12-31....{:>)))... The dogs were suspose to have been adopted out until Feb 5th or so. A newspaper article stated, Activest found out many were shipped to Florida and Mexico, to other low end smaller tracks. There were about 350 dogs/ 12 different kennel groups at the track at the time it closed. The article stated that if any kennel was able to get rid of their dogs prior to the 2-5 date, there was a $ 5000.00 insentive bonus to the owner of the Kennel. Atcivist Groups know who the dogs are, and are determined to get the ones back from Florida. The ones that went to Mexico, don't think there is much that can be done. SAD.....{:>(((
