Thats all I was talking about. With a margin account, they don't make you wait the 3 days for your money to clear, you technically have access to it right away and can buy any of the big board stocks with it. But most brokers consider anystock under $3 or so to be "non-marginable". That means, if you put money into your account, you have access to it right away to buy big board stocks, but not any stock under $3. You can't buy these stocks till your money "offically" clears which takes 3 days.
Thats what I was refering to that I hate, but thats the name of the game with every broker I have seen. I didn't mean to confuse anyone or start any debates over this.
