I do not doubt that JD's business is real and that he is probably good at running the day to day issues. The problem is he has a big ego (my way or the highway attitude from what I have been told). That sort of an attitude is not condusive to running a publically traded company, especially for a first timer like him. He really needs to humble himself and hire a consultant that can lay out an affective strategy for EXPH.
I firmly believe he has no idea of the kind of damage he has done with his press releases, emails, and telephone communication. All this whining about market makers and discussion boards destroying this company is a load of crap. This would all be mute if he did things in a timley manner, did not give bad projections repeatedly, and teaser press releases.
