IMO the issue here was not that there is some out of this world, unique kind of coding that delayed our progress. I'm pretty sure that what happened is we were just trying to get all these things done during shortened holiday weeks. Not only were the markets closed which made testing impossible. But we were also up against shortened work weeks both at Ifinix, and at the data providers company.

The code is relatively easy for a competent programmer to write. So, all that being said, now that the data provider has had several "business as usual" work days to get our project done I would have to say that they are either done writing the code, or they'll be done by COB tomorrow IMO.

That means they can get the feed to us on Monday or Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest, and then the Ifinix tech person can test it to make it sure it meets desired requirements and we'll be able to launch by the end of next week.

So to condense all that down, I'd be shocked if we're not in business by the end of next week. Now that both companies are back to regular work schedules that is a VERY reasonable expectation.

"Sort of" is such a harmless thing to say. "Sort of". It's just a filler. "Sort of" - It doesn't really mean anything. But after certain things, "sort of" means everything. Like after "I love you" or "You're going to live" or "It's a boy".
