Some info regarding the quality of DVIS images:

Re: the 2008 RSNA: "The reaction of doctors and other radiology professionals to our new images and future product plans was all positive and we are very happy with the way our technology has been received.”

Re: The 2008 Frost & Sullivan North American Medical Imaging Product Innovation of the Year Award: DVIS was selected the Innovation of the Year in the field of Medical Imaging after the "analyst team conducted "extensive primary technology research," which undoubtedly involved reviewing images produced by the device.

There's feedback from radiology professionals who have seen images. There's this bizarre myth out there that Imaging3 is hiding the images from the public. That's totally false. The issue is, you can't just PDF a 3-D image and email it out for public consumption. The product functions because of the software that is part and parcel of the product. Without the software and the hardware on which to view the images, we can't view images on our PCs. However, the images were available for viewing at the RSNA on the DVIS hardware. The images are always available to be viewed at Imaging3's offices in CA on the DVIS hardware. The FDA has seen them and has approved the product for trials based on the images they've seen. They have not asked for additional images during this final push towards approval. Don't by the scare tactics and the myths. The product is a homerun, and that's why it's received accolades wherever it's been unveiled. Sit back and enjoy the ride. FDA approval is right around the corner (I'm predicting Jan. 11 - 13).
