Just a heads up, I have a DROID and you can't directly get L2 on the phone because they're still working on Java software for the Android O/S. Now, like you said....if u could somehow run your internet on your government comp through the DROID you would be in business. Like you I work for the Government "US Navy active duty" and have all the time in the world to monitor stocks. I too get nothing when I try to run Ihub L2 on NMCI. Perhaps the day will come wen Ameritrade gets their heads outa their ass*s and gets an L2 for pinkies that I can use on Command Center 2.0 ;)
